Cameron brought in his cricket trophy to show the class today. He was his teams Player of the Season! You might be called up to help the Black Caps out Cameron!!

Room 12's Chuck Close Portraits

We have been learning to draw a portrait in the style of American Artist Chuck Close.

We drew our portraits onto a grid, and then with our coloured pencils added a different pattern to each square.

They have taken a lot of perseverance to complete, but the end result looks fantastic!!

Wonderful Writing!

Room 12 have been writing recounts this week about our LMS Swimming Sports. We have been making sure our stories have lots of detail by using 5W and 1H (When, Where, Who Why, What, How). Here is Ashleigh C's fantastic recount!

Week 5 Assembly Certificates

On Friday afternoon, Jemma and Luca presented the Lower Middle Syndicate Assembly. Finlay, Kate, Ashleigh O and Jordan showed some of the amazing art we have been working on this week (photos to come once they are finished!!). Tyrell and Ashleigh O received the Room 12 certificates this week. Well done!

Crusaders Visit!

On Friday we had Dominic Bird and Nepo Laulala speak to Belfast School. Our Prefects asked them questions. We learnt that Dominic didn't always support the Crusaders (he was a Hurricanes supporter growing up) and that Nepo is the strongest Crusader!
