Number day

On Wednesday the 27th of August 2014 it was maths dress up day.

Jacob dressed up as a dice.It was green on the back and front and the sides were black and had white spots.

Jack is a calculator for maths dress up day.

Cameron decided to be SUMDOG!

Super Structures!

Today we had Anna from Science Alive come and talk to us about structures. We learnt that buildings are made for a purpose. They need to have stable foundations so that they don't fall over (like the Leaning Tower of Pisa!) It is also important to have bracing in structures to make them super stong and safe.

Week 3!

Week 3 has been a very busy week!! We have had 3 birthdays this week, whole school assembly on Monday and have begun learning a lot about inventions! Sport with Greg was fun on Friday! We played Spiders and Scorpions and then practiced our catching and throwing skills with a tennis ball.
