Chinese New Year

Today we learnt about Chinese New Year. The Chinese New Year is symbolic of letting go of the past and welcoming new beginnings. It's a popular time for spring cleaning. Traditional foods include fish, which is served at the end of the New Year’s meal and symbolizes abundance. Red decorations are everywhere, because the colour red is considered to be one of the luckiest colours of all. Come into Room 8 to see the lanterns and dragons we made.
