We are amazing writer's in Room 8. We are getting ready for the up coming Poetry and Speech Competition. We have been writing descriptive poems. Last week we wrote a class poem. We choose the most interesting phrase from our own writing and joined it together to make a new piece of writing as a class. We hope you enjoy it.....
I think pigs
Are really nice!
A pig, but not any pig.
It has horns on its nose and it has sharp
pointy toes.
It is really, really smelly.
Wild
boars in the forest rolling in the mud.
Piglets have curly and fuzzy tails and are
covered in mud.
Piglets have pink, clean bodies.
Piglets have small brown eyes and a little
crinkly nose.
Its nose feels like sandpaper.
Piglets roll in mud, because mud is like sun
screen.
It was so muddy that you couldn’t even see the
pink piglet.
A piglet squealed so loud that all the other
pigs heard him.
A sow is a mum and boar is a dad.
I think they are cute. Don’t you?
